11 ¶ Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring ^aevil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall ^bcry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.

  15 And now the Lord was slow to ^ahear their cry because of their iniquities; nevertheless the Lord did hear their ^bcries, and began to soften the hearts of the Lamanites that they began to ease their burdens; yet the Lord did not see fit to deliver them out of bondage.

  7 They were slow to ^ahearken unto the voice of the Lord their God; therefore, the Lord their God is slow to hearken unto their prayers, to answer them in the day of their trouble.
