CHAPTER 3

1 Behold, I will ^asend my ^bmessenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly ^ccome to his ^dtemple, even the ^emessenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

And it came to pass that after they were written he expounded them. JS-H 1: 36. 36 After telling me these things, he commenced quoting the prophecies of the Old Testament. He first quoted part of the third chapter of ^aMalachi; and he quoted also the fourth or last chapter of the same prophecy, though with a little variation from the way it reads in our Bibles. Instead of quoting the first verse as it reads in our books, he quoted it thus: TG Last Days. TG Millennium, Preparing a People for. TG Restoration of the Gospel.
