6 And he made his son pass through the ^afire, and observed times, and used ^benchantments, and dealt with ^cfamiliar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

  15 Wherefore, for this cause, that my ^acovenants may be fulfilled which I have made unto the children of men, that I will do unto them while they are in the flesh, I must needs destroy the ^bsecret works of ^cdarkness, and of murders, and of abominations.

  22 And there are also secret ^acombinations, even as in times of old, according to the combinations of the ^bdevil, for he is the founder of all these things; yea, the founder of murder, and ^cworks of darkness; yea, and he leadeth them by the neck with a flaxen cord, until he bindeth them with his strong cords forever.

  14 For these nations, which thou shalt ^apossess, hearkened unto ^bobservers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

  13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the ^aastrologers, the stargazers, the ^bmonthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
