8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of ^aBeth-el, and pitched his tent, having ^bBeth-el on the west, and ^cHai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and ^dcalled upon the ^ename of the Lord.

  19 And he called the name of that place ^aBeth-el: but the name of that city was called ^bLuz at the first.

  2 And ^aElijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to ^bBeth-el. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not ^cleave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.
