20 For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that ^aZedekiah ^brebelled against the king of Babylon.

  13 And he also ^arebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him ^bswear by God: but he ^cstiffened his neck, and ^dhardened his heart from turning unto the Lord God of Israel.

  17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of ^aBabylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid ^bwaste?

  4 ¶ And it came to pass, that when ^aZedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king’s garden, by the gate betwixt the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain.

  15 But he ^arebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?

  4 For it came to pass in the commencement of the ^afirst year of the reign of ^bZedekiah, king of Judah, (my father, Lehi, having dwelt at ^cJerusalem in all his days); and in that same year there came many ^dprophets, prophesying unto the people that they must ^erepent, or the great city ^fJerusalem must be destroyed.
