11 So shall my aword be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Footnotes
11a
Deut. 32: 2.
2 My doctrine shall drop as the arain, my bspeech shall distil as the cdew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:
Ezek. 12: 25.
25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the aword that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the bword, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.
D&C 121: 45.
45 Let thy abowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let bvirtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy cconfidence wax strong in the dpresence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the edews from heaven.
