13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his ^awound, then went ^bEphraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king ^cJareb: yet could he not ^dheal you, nor cure you of your wound.

  1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for ^ahelp; and ^bstay on ^chorses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!

  7 But I will have ^amercy upon the house of ^bJudah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by ^chorses, nor by horsemen.

  14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the ^afatherless.
