The Lord commanded Moses to remove his shoes, for he was standing on holy ground, Ex. 3: 4-5. God is to be feared and had in reverence, Ps. 89: 7. Serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear, Heb. 12: 28. Moroni bowed himself to the earth, and prayed mightily, Alma 46: 13. The multitude fell to the earth and worshiped Christ, 3 Ne. 11: 12-19. Bow down before me, D&C 5: 24. All things bow in humble reverence before the throne of God, D&C 76: 93. Your minds have been darkened because you have treated lightly the things you have received, D&C 84: 54-57. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess, D&C 88: 104. Out of respect or reverence to the name of the Supreme Being, the Church called that priesthood after Melchizedek, D&C 107: 4. Blessings will be poured out upon those who reverence the Lord in his house, D&C 109: 21.
