Woe unto them who put darkness for light, Isa. 5: 20 (2 Ne. 15: 20). Darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, Isa. 60: 2. Jesus will give light to those that sit in darkness, Luke 1: 79. The light shines in darkness, and the darkness comprehends it not, John 1: 5 (D&C 45: 7). Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light, Rom. 13: 12. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, Eph. 5: 8-11.
