Something that is not spiritual; specifically the word may be used to mean either mortal and temporal (D&C 67: 10) or worldly, fleshly, and sensual (Mosiah 16: 10-12).

To be carnally-minded is death, 2 Ne. 9: 39. The devil lulls men away into carnal security, 2 Ne. 28: 21. They had viewed themselves in their own carnal state, Mosiah 4: 2. He that persists in his own carnal nature remains in his fallen state, Mosiah 16: 5. All must be born of God, changed from their carnal and fallen state, Mosiah 27: 25.
