18 And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt ^aoffering unto the Lord: it is a ^bsweet ^csavour, an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

  9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the ^apriest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a ^bsweet savour unto the Lord.

  2 And ^awalk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an ^boffering and a ^csacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling ^dsavour.

  10 And while I was thus struggling in the spirit, behold, the voice of the Lord came into my ^amind again, saying: I will visit thy brethren according to their diligence in keeping my commandments. I have ^bgiven unto them this land, and it is a holy land; and I ^ccurse it not save it be for the cause of iniquity; wherefore, I will visit thy brethren according as I have said; and their ^dtransgressions will I bring down with sorrow upon their own heads.

  22 Yea, and I say unto you that if it were not for the ^aprayers of the righteous, who are now in the land, that ye would even now be visited with utter destruction; yet it would not be by ^bflood, as were the people in the days of ^cNoah, but it would be by famine, and by pestilence, and the ^dsword.

  9 For this, the ^awaters of Noah unto me, for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee.

  5 ¶ And God saw that the ^awickedness of man was great in the earth, and that ^bevery imagination of the ^cthoughts of his ^dheart was only ^eevil continually.
