THE FIRST BOOK OF MOSES CALLED
GENESIS
CHAPTER 21
6 ¶ And Sarah said, God hath made me to alaugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Footnotes
6a
The Heb. root tzachak means both ‘to laugh’ and ‘to rejoice’; thus there is double meaning implied in its use here.
Gal. 4: 27.
27 For it is written, aRejoice, thou bbarren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
D&C 132: 56.
56 And again, verily I say, let mine handmaid aforgive my servant Joseph his trespasses; and then shall she be forgiven her trespasses, wherein she has trespassed against me; and I, the Lord thy God, will bless her, and multiply her, and make her heart to brejoice.
