6 And he made his son pass through the ^afire, and observed times, and used ^benchantments, and dealt with ^cfamiliar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

  3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the ^afire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.

  6 And he caused his children to pass through the ^afire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he ^bobserved times, and used enchantments, and used ^cwitchcraft, and ^ddealt with a ^efamiliar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

  3 And thus we see that except the Lord doth ^achasten his people with many afflictions, yea, except he doth visit them with ^bdeath and with terror, and with famine and with all manner of pestilence, they will not ^cremember him.
