18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount ^aforty days and forty nights.

  1 And when the people saw that Moses ^adelayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us ^bgods, which shall ^cgo before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we ^dwot not what is become of him.

  28 And he was there with the Lord ^aforty days and forty nights; he did neither ^beat bread, nor drink water. And he ^cwrote upon the tables the words of the ^dcovenant, the ^eten ^fcommandments.
