Plural of Ashtoreth.
Idols worshipped with Baal, by the Israelites (Judg. 2: 13; Judg. 10: 6; 1 Sam. 7: 3-4; 1 Sam. 12: 10; 1 Sam. 31: 10). Also a city in Bashan (Deut. 1: 4).
