38 And he that taketh not his ^across, and followeth after me, is not ^bworthy of me.

  24 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him ^adeny himself, and take up his ^bcross, and ^cfollow ^dme.

  23 ¶ And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his ^across daily, and ^bfollow me.

  27 And whosoever doth not bear his ^across, and come after me, cannot be my ^bdisciple.

  6 Behold, I manifest unto you, Joseph Knight, by these words, that you must take up your ^across, in the which you must ^bpray ^cvocally before the world as well as in secret, and in your family, and among your friends, and in all places.
