CHAPTER 10

4 O ye people of these ^agreat cities which have fallen, who are descendants of Jacob, yea, who are of the house of Israel, how oft have I ^bgathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and have ^cnourished you.

Behold, this have I planted in a ^agood spot of ground; and I have nourished it this long time, and only a ^bpart of the tree hath brought forth tame fruit, and the ^cother part of the tree hath brought forth wild fruit; behold, I have nourished this tree like unto the others.
