7 And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, ^aUnto thy ^bseed will I give this ^cland: and there builded he an ^daltar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.

  25 And he builded an ^aaltar there, and called upon the ^bname of the Lord, and pitched his tent there: and there Isaac’s servants digged a well.

  4 And Moses ^awrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an ^baltar ^cunder the hill, and twelve ^dpillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

  17 Now I, Abraham, built an ^aaltar in the land of Jershon, and made an offering unto the Lord, and prayed that the ^bfamine might be turned away from my father’s house, that they might not perish.

  25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn ^astone: for if thou lift up thy ^btool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

  5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto the Lord thy God, an altar of ^astones: thou shalt not lift up any ^biron tool upon them.

  31 As Moses the servant of the Lord commanded the children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of Moses, an ^aaltar of whole ^bstones, over which no man hath lift up any ^ciron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the Lord, and sacrificed peace offerings.
