17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the ^aaffliction of ^bEgypt unto the land of the ^cCanaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the ^dJebusites, unto a ^eland flowing with milk and honey.

  63 ¶ As for the ^aJebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the ^bJebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.

  21 And the children of Benjamin did not ^adrive out the ^bJebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the ^cJebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.

  8 And David said on that day, Whosoever getteth up to the gutter, and smiteth the ^aJebusites, and the lame and the blind, that are hated of David’s soul, he shall be chief and captain. Wherefore they said, The blind and the lame shall not come into the house.
